What Are The Side Effects Of Depakote?

The Dr. just put me on Depakote to stable my mood and migraines, I took one for the first time last night and all day today I have had a bad headache, is that a side effect? And if it is will it go away? Also I have heard you gain a ton of weight.... Is that also true?

most probably, if you have noticed headache after taking this medicine, it could be because of Depakote as it is one of the more common side effects of the depakote.
It may cause weight gain or loss too. so it depends on how it suits to you.
