What Are The Side Effects Of Cytotec During Pregnancy?
hi, im 9 weeks pregnant and due to have an abortion yesterday,i took 2 cytotec in the morning but imeadiately knew i had made the wrong decision n decided not to carry on with the procedure. I havent experienced any bleeding but have had some sharp pains in my lower abdomen last night.
would really like to know if the baby is ok? are the effects of cytotec as bad if you havent bled???

Dear Madam,
You should not change the decision of termination of pregnancy after consuming Cytotec tablets. These tablets are known to cause abnormality in the baby if the pregnancy is continued. I will not advise you to continue the pregnancy. Please terminate this pregnancy keeping in mind the possibility of abnormalities in the baby due to Cytotec. If you want the baby, you can go for a fresh pregnancy; please do not continue this pregnancy.
If the medicine has failed to terminate the pregnancy, you may repeat the dose or opt for the surgical evacuation of the uterus.
Please report to the Obstetrician for further action.
