I AM JUST WONDERING THE SIDE AFFECTS OF CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE 0.12% ORAL RINSE. I HAD I ASKED MY DENTIST FOR SOMETHING PREVENTATIVE TO KEEP ME FROM GETTING SOME OF THE DEEP GINIVITIS THAT LOTS OF OLDER PEOPLE GET..........HE TOLD ME THIS WOULD HELP. WELL WHEN I WENT FOR MY LAST CLEANING, THE HYGENIST SAID IT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIMES??? SINCE THE FIRST WORD GLUCO IS SUGAR, I JUST WONDERED WHAT DAMAGE IT COULD HAVE DONE, AS I AM HAVING SOME THROAT DISCHARGE - NOT YELLOW OR INFECTION, BUT SEEMS FROM SUGAR TO ME...............THANK YOU
