What Are The Side Effects Of Calvepen?
Hi, I have been prescribed Calvepen 666mg for tonsilitis and my doctor recommended that I continue my contraceptive pill without a gap. However at the time it was not possible for me to do this. What are the effects of this drug on my cycle and menstrual period as now it appears to be late?

Calvepen is an antibiotic that is used in the treatment of various bacterial Infections like respiratory tract Infections, urinary tract Infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, eye, nose or ear infections and many more. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. But, usually antibiotics like Calvepen doesn't affect the female's menstrual periods. Calvepen doesn't cause late, early, absent or heavy and prolonged periods. Many underlying conditions like illness, stress, changes in weight, hormonal changes etc can affect the regularity of the menstrual cycle. So Calvepen has no effects on the menstrual period.
