What Are The Side Effects Of Atenolol?
I have been on atenolol for ten years. Two years ago I developed a rash and severe itching. My dermatologist has not been able to find the cause. Could the atenolol have this side effect after a period of time. Unfortunately it has helped to keep my blood pressure in check. Thanks. J. De Lorenzo

Atenelol does not usually cause allergic eruption or skin reaction. You can go for an allergy test and if aten is not the culprit, you can very well continue with the drug.
