What Are The Side Effects Of Amitriptyline?

My daughter is 12 and has been prescribed amitriptyline 50 mg at night for migraines. She also take clonidine, concerta, singulair, ceterizine, and melatonin. She has recently been having signs of depression and has self harmed. All this since her amitriptyline was prescribed.

Your daughter taking lots of medication.
Its very unusal to corelate amitryptylin and depression, because amitriptylin in used for depression.

In case of migraine its not essential to use amitriptylin, there is alternate medicine.

Dont worry, consult with an medicine specialist for to choose proper medication with dose.
