What Are The Side Effect Of Rigevidon?
Hi I asked my Doctor if I could be prescribed the pill, he has given me Rigevidon but I m worried about the side effects. The first thing he said to me when I asked was It will increase your chances of getting cervical cancer . Now I realize that he has to tell me these things but the way he said it made me feel like it was wrong for me to ask for the pill. I am a young women in my twenties and it is the first time I have ever wanted or needed to go on the pill. Would it be better for my health to look at other alternatives?

Every medication is associated with potential side effects but these affects occur in the minority not the majority of persons.
Most women will use oral contraception with no problems.
However , if you are still not comfortable then you can consider another form of contraception hormonal or otherwise.
You can discuss your different options with your doctor - condoms, patch, intrauterine device etc
