Hello dear Understand your concern Medical termination of early pregnancy should be done under the proper guidance and observation of gynecologist. Pre abortion USG and pelvic examination is necessary to confirm the intrauterine pregnancy and gestational age of pregnancy. Do not try the abortion at home with using drugs as it cause complication and failure of drugs. There is two method for abortion up to 9 week of pregnancy. 1. By drugs: Mifepristone followed by misoprostol (safe and effective if done under observation of gynecologist)- Mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally after 48 hour, if needed another 2 dose should be given under observation every 6 hourly. 2. By surgical procedure: suction evacuation/vaccum aspiration. As your partner is anemic, better to go for surgical procedure ass chance of bleeding is very less and successful method. Follow up visit to doctor after 7 days and 14 days (USG scan) to prevent complication. Bleeding and pain after the abortion is just like more than period with passing blood clots and tissues.
