OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
The ideal thing to do in the current scenario would be to see a gynecologist for a proper evaluation, get a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the location of the gestation sac and also the age of the pregnancy, get the routine blood counts, coagulation profile and urinalysis and then, if everything is favorable, proceed for an induced medical abortion. The process usually takes 2-3 days and a follow up is done after two weeks through a sonogram to confirm completion of the procedure. She can see any gynecologist with an attached nursing home. Hope this helps.
