What Are The Risks Of Late Pregnancy?

I m 32 years old and have two daughters age 10 and 8 year. I just feel like I would like to have another baby and have felt this way for may years but I never knew about my husbands job so we didn t. Now were at a point where I feel like we can but I just wondering if we are to old. My husband is 48 years old. Does that open up several more risks? I will tell you that our first daughter was diagnosed with Pre-B ALL when she was 2 1/2. She is fine now I just didn t know if that would be another deterrent?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Yes, there are increased chances of congenital disease with advanced age.
In my opinion you can conceive at this age but continue your pregnancy under observation of a gynaecologist and should be investigated properly.
Good luck.
Regards
