What Are The Repercussions Of Prolonged Use Of Benedryl?

I have been taking Benedryl nightly for years with out knowing there could be bad side effects! Lately I have noticed a buzzing sensation in my head that lasts a few minutes. I thought it was my ear but now feel like it is in my head. I am a very healthy 53 year old otherwise.
