What Are The Reasons For Tiredness, Swollen Lymph Node And Sore Throat?

I am a teacher and use my voice constantly. When I get really tired in the afternoons, my right lymph node in my neck becomes swollen and sore to the touch. After I get a good night's sleep my throat feels fine in the mornings but once again becomes sore. I don't think I have cancer....Just my body's way of fighting off a virus, right?
Thanks,
Donna

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding swollen and tender lymph node on the neck after constant talking for long time.

As you said that your lump on your neck becomes painful after use of your voice for quite long time as in a class room. I am suspecting that you might be having pharyngeal pouch because such pouches are having tendency to increase in size with loud phonation not the lymph node.

But to confirm t you should get yourself examined by ENT doctor to finalize the diagnosis.

I hope you got the answer of your query.

Regards.
