What Are The Reasons For Late Periods And Tender Nipples?

Hi I have been monitoring my period cycle for the last 15 months. My average cycle is 26 days. I was due to start 9 days ago. I have had sore tender nipples now for about 8-9 days. However today I have started to bleed on my 35th day. ? 8 days overdue. I still have tender nipples (which is something I have never had before on a normal period). What could be the cause ?

Since you had your bleeding on the fifth day we cannot really ,it was pregnancy .
and as you have mentioned that the period got delayed , your premenstrual symptoms got highlighted which you probably did not experience because you were shorter cycles
This is all due to hormonal depletion in this phase , when the progesterone gets depleted
Dont worry
Consult your doctor , take some medication for the pain relief
Wait till the next cycle
Take care
