The cough is also very painful mostly makes lots of whooping noise, continuous and increases at sleeping time. It gradually recovers very slowly with gargles and some medicines. I have shown many doc.s have taken TB tests which are negative and most doctor gave some antibiotic and coughsyrup, But I always feel evrytime they are treating my symptoms , not the cause. Will you help me in understanding the real problem and its cause. My querry is why Iam struck easily with such throat problems & cough so often. I have sometime also taken Chawanprash although but still seasonal variation and heat shock differences, enhances these kind of problem. Will you help me understand the real problem and tell me precautions to take.Thank you for your valuable suggestions and analysis.

Since your history says that you are having recurrent Respiratory tract infections, we here list out some of the common causes. 1) Allergy 2) Tuberculosis 3) Smoking and passive smoking (in the environment of smokers 4) Decreased Immunity be it Congenital or Acquired 5) Local anatomic defects like DNS, Tonsillitis, Sinusitis. 6) Cystic fibrosis. The management differs by each cause hence see an ENT specialist or a General Physician to figure out the cause for you. The appropriate treatment is instituted automatically by them. Remember to avoid smoking, try to reach your office during low rush hours, Healthy diet at home (Outside food should be minimised). Breathe fresh air early in the morning with a 20 min walk. Dont stay in congested surroundings. Water should be properly boiled and then cooled before drinking.

Note: Consult an experienced Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist online for further follow up on ear, nose, and throat issues - Book a Call now.
