What Are The Possible Treatments For Posterior Labral Tear?

I have been diagnosed with a posterior labral tear. I have had x-rays, CT scans, MRI's, went to 3 months of physical therapy, had a cortisone injection, and have seen multiple doctors. When I recently saw a surgeon for a consultation, he refused to grant me surgery and told me to get 3 more months of physical therapy and cortisone injections. If that works, then I am to go on a high dose of interferon. I got the injury at work so I am covered under worker's comp, but I am in a lot of pain, and I am unable to do my job. I know that surgery would repair the tear. Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Not all surgeon can do this surgery so if you will not meet a hip arthroscopy surgeon than you will never be able to get operated. So i would suggest you to meet a arthroscopy surgeon who will be able to guide you in better way. Till than avoid steroids as they may have long term side effects.
