What Are The Possible Treatments For Brain Tumour Without Surgery?

My Dad has a stage 4 inoperable tumor in the back of his brain. He was given a year to live. It is increasingly affecting his memory. He just finished three weeks of radiation but has refused Chemo. We know this will end in his death, but are curious how it will end. Will he eventually forget to breath or will his brain stop telling his heart to beat? Or is there another typical end for patients with this type of cancer? Please don t sugar coat or pull any punches, I need to know what to prepare for.

Dear sir
Hello
Theoretically nothing much can be done at this stage except radiotherapy which you have already given .
But practically we should give STEROIDS/ ANTICONVULSANTS /ANALGESICS & supportive treatment to alleviate his agony .
Option of gamma knife treatment is also available but depends on size/location of tumor .
Normally these patients deteriorate neurologically like memory loss /coma/hemiparesis / incontinence etc before developing respiratory/cardiac arrest .

Thanx
