Hello Welcome to Health Care Magic
As you said about emergency contraception is true but i prefer not to take emergency contraception regularly. When it is planned take oral contraceptive pills of full month. And condom is better option which saves you from acquiring sexually transmitted infections like HIV, herpes, hepatitis B. Even vaginal sponges are helpful equally.
pregnancy can not be predicted.you need to go for pregnancy test after you miss your periods. periods are normal and there is no chances of pregnancy if the flow is normal in amount and duration. if only spotting is present then also you need to go for evaluation.
Hope this information helps you.
Best wishes.
