What Are The Physical Attributes Of Amoxicillin?

we have been taking amoxicillin prior to having teeth cleaned..in the past that have been white but my husbands prescription came back with pink and purple pills also the dosage was different than in the past so I'm concerned that my husband will be taking the wrong pill before his dentist appointment tomorrow.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain amoxicillin that is an antibiotic as well other drugs can vary in size, shape and colour of the edible dyes used in the capsues or tablets and can differ in different commercial brands..
So colour change is not an issue..
Other thing is that Amoxicillin is available in different quantity like 250mg, 500mg and so on and the doctor can prescribe different concentration depending on request of patients and can also be in combination with other drugs..
So you need not to worry and take the Medication as prescribed by the dentist..
