What are the odds that over 5 years I could

What are the odds that over 5 years I could be intimate hundreds of times with a person who was positive for HSV2, and asymptomatic, the entire time without my having contracted the virus? I was tested for the antibidies just shy of the 5 year mark and I was negative although my partner was not. Confirmation tests for us both a few weeks later reaffirmed those results.
Our then shared family physician said that the reason I was not affected was because the virus does spread from a person who isn’t in a period of flare-up when it would then be “shedding”. I was satisfied enough with this explanation.
Subsequently I happened upon information that stated otherwise. A person with HSV2, although not in a flare-up, would spread the virus easily enough because they are still “shedding” regardless.
I neeed to know which it is for life going forward. My partner and I are no more for other reasons, however now I am positive as well.
So, did I avoid infection for years until just recently when we missed the signs of a flare-up? Or did my former partner acquire this disease much more recently and therefore so did I? By knowing this I can act more safely and responsibliy in the future should I meet someone again.

Hi, I m 47 and this is the first time I missed my period other than my two children. I have been having the so called hot flashes at night primarily for about 4 months but not too severe. My thyroid is deceased as they say (liquid radiation) about 12 years ago. No real issues with that but recently was told they need to decrease the meds from 125 to 115mcg (levrothyroxin). I recently lost 37 pounds in 4 months but have been taking Phentermine for the past 3 months. I am tired and just started cramping a bit but nothing comes. I was sexually active approximately 6 weeks ago. What are the odds of pregnacy over perimenopause or menopause? Oh and I have been working out really heavy and don t know if this is the cause of the cramps.

due to finances, i have lost alot of weight over the past year. i am currently at a worrying low of 110 lbs. (im female, standing a 5 2 ) over the past month or so, i have noticed an odd bruising pattern around thetop of my stomache, along the bottom of my ribs. could it be due to my low weight? what does it mean, and how can i try to fix it?

A few months ago my urine started smelling funny and very strong, I couldn t pinpoint the smell, but now I feel it may be more metallicy, but no other different symptoms than why I have been experiencing on and off the last couple of years (which seem to be like UTI symptoms but half of the tests have come back negative). More recently I have noticed that when I am standing and walking I have a constant urge to pee but not when sat down, even if I know I need to go and over the past week or so have noticed a constand need to go to the toilet with a full bladder (it is becoming imbarrasing). My urine is also very clear with a very small hint of green but this may be my eyesite which is also affecting me a lot just now(perhaps due to tiredness). I have also now got a pain in my side which had came a couple of times after urinating but at the moment it hasn t eased off. I feel like I have been hit. I don t know if this would relate but i have small damaged skin patches that look like I have scraped skin off and I dont know where they came from but I do know that a couple of times I have accidently made them worse because my legs get very itchy when im anxious. Im in my early 20 s about 5 3 and vary between 10 and 11 stone back and forth each day. (probably a bad set of scales). I want to be about 9 stone but am not dieting to achieve this. Almost every member of my direct family including males are prone to kidney infections and UTIs and my mum has scarred kidneys probably due to UTIs. I have not changed my diet or excersise and am still not drinking enough fluids or more fluids. Could you tell me what might be going on? If you need anything more please let me know.
