What Are The Modes Of Transmission For HIV?

Hi,

Three weeks ago I used a rectal thermometer. My conserns are now that it might was not desinfected. I thought it was, but my question is now; is it possible to be infectedd by HIV virus in such way? Other members of family might have use it to. Of course I don't think they have HIV. There were no visible blood on the thermometer.

hi
There is no chance you can get HIV as HIV virus do not transmit through instruments like thermometer. Generally HIV Virus do not survive in open air.

HIV is transmitted by participating in un protected sex with HIV positive person or by sharing needles with a positive person or by blood transfusion taken from HIV positive person etc....
