What Are The Medicines For Diabetes?

Dear Dr. My mother (age 69 years) has been diagnosed with high sugar levels. She has been prescribed Eurepa 1, Janumet, Arvast - F10 and D-Rise as medications. Are these the right medications? Along with these medications she has been given a diet chart to follow and walk for 1 hour daily. Pls advice.

Hello,
All these medicines are very good and hence you must follow them.
Best treatment of diabetes is when anti diabetic medicines are combined with proper diet control along with regular exercises,as advised by your doctor.
You must keep a regular check on the sugar levels and the drug dose has to be regularly adjusted till the sugar levels get stabilised.
Keep a regular date with your doctor.
Thanks
