What are the measures to prevent Quadriceps strains ?

Hi, i slightly strained my quad 6 days ago football training so as told i rested and iced for 24-48hours. I started back training and now there is no pain only when full-on sprinting and full power striking the ball. I can stretch my quad as normal and run 3/4 pace easily but this morning i woke to mild bruising around the sore area, Is this a sign of recovery? I have training tomorrow night what would be your advice? Thanks

no ,not at all bruising is sign of inflammation and not of healing
you must do rest and avoid training as it may worse your problem
rest is best for you
better to consult doctor
you can take analgesic tab .
