The causes for acidity or many. In terms of severity and frequency, They can range from Stress, Pain Medications, Spicy foods, Smoking, Alcoholism, Obesity, H. Pylori Infection, Lax lower esophageal Sphincter and many more. To prevent its complications one has to have a healthy lifestyle, like avoiding smoking and alcohol, stress and eating and sleeping on time. Exercising regularly and eating healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
