What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Encorate Chrono?
hello doctor,my 10 yrs. son is taking encorate chrono 300 from past 5 months and we are observing sudden changes in his behaviour .He has become more excited and gets angry very fastly.He looses his temper very fast .plz tell what are the side effects of taking this medicine for a long time..

Encorate chrono (300mg) if already being used for long time does not produce major side effects.
Only problem is it can cause weight gain. it does not cause dry mouth.
The symptoms you said regarding his behavior like more excited,gets angry fastly or temper loose are not the side effects of this drug,so no need to be worried about it.
So don't worry continue on this medicine.
If still side effects occur stop this and change to other medicine with help of your treating physician or neurologist.
