Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
Let me mention that the list of side effects are usually huge. I will therefore mention the most common and most significant side effects-
1. Amplopress AT- combination of
Amlodipine and atenolol
a. Amlodipine- side effect- swelling of feet and low blood pressure
b. Atenolol- side effects- low
heart rate (
bradycardia) and the group is known to raise blood sugars marginally
2. Ramistar- is basically ramipril- considered safe to a large extent, unless one has
renal failure. Watch your potassium and
creatinine levels.
3. Clavix AS- combination of clopidrogel and aspirin
a. aspirin - blood thining effects- so bleeding can happen (if susceptible), and
gastritis. In fact I always prefer to give it with
ranitidine.
b. clopidrogel- can cause bleeding due to blood thinning effects.
4. Neurobion forte is vitamin B- relatively safe, sometimes causes nausea
I will suggest regularly checking potassium, creatinine, and ecg
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
