Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Gabapentin is one of GAGA drug that is used in a number of conditions like seizures, neuropathic pains, anxiety etc. You have fibromyalgia, inflammatory arthritis and the drug is suitable drug for your conditions. You are taking 3600 mg of Gabapentin per day and in my opinion this is very high dose and dose should be reduced. Long term effects of such high dose are related to dependence. Such high doses are known to result in dependence and tolerance and this can result in withdrawal symptoms if the drug is stopped suddenly. If the pain is persisting then other pain medicine can be used concomitantly and consider consulting your doctor to reduce the doses of the drug.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Take care
