What Are The Little Red Spots Along The Inside Of My Legs?

I had a blood clot in my right leg last year, and then a clot in my left leg, resulting in vein removal to both legs. I am now on warfarin and mercapterpurin for colitis. I have now started getting little red spots along the inside of my legs along the vein line and both sides of my body. Any answers to what this is

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have little red spots along the inside of my legs which seems to be due to bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue due to compromised immunity of your body and increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with oral antibiotic course of Amoxycillin 500 mg in combination with clavulanic acid 125 mg for around 1 week. Apply topical antibacterial ointment neosporin or gentamicin on these rashes twice daily. You should take oral painkiller as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You can take properly prescribed antibiotic course.
