What Are The Ill Effects Of Using Meth?

After long term meth use averaging in about 2-4 grams perweek for 3 months by a 24 year old women who had been clean for 3 months from a 8 month period of the same amount of weekly use, are there ways to make the tired and lethargic aspect of withdrawel when attempting to quit easier to go through and handle without sleeping whole days away? Can one continue to hold up a job, take care of a family, and keep plans and engagements that where planned? Is this done by diet, suppliment, and/or drug subscribed by a doctor?

certainly taking drugs to overcome the withdrawal is a problem...it's pretty much feeding into the addiction. Antidepressants, though, might have some role.

There is no magic fix for it. Drugs of abuse feel good. Not having them does not feel good. But there are, of course, quite a lot of downsides to using drugs of abuse and a lot of positive points to not being on them. Emphasizing this is about the main way.

Physical fitness relates to the situation also. People are run down physically by meth use with a decline in muscle mass and general ill health, General measures to build back up with regular food and exercise are an important feature of recovery.
