Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

There is a syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome where there is facial palsy due to varicella zoster reactivation getting complicated. Usually patient presents with zoster (shingles) affecting the ear and palsy involving that side of the face. I would suggest you take appropriate therapy from a physician for the zoster. Oral acyclovir therapy is most effective. This occurs in a patient whose immunity is low, so try improving your immune system by taking healthy diet and start some form of regular exercise. There is also a vaccine available to prevent recurrence of zoster. Please discuss this option with your treating physician.

Thanks.
