What Are The Effects Of PH In Semen?

My girlsfriend has been feeling bloated and uncomfortable. She went to see her Dr. today and was advised that the issue is that the PH in my semen is causing a reaction in her body. The Dr. also said that this is caused by the fact that I have had a Vasectomy. Have you heard of this before? Is there something I can do via diet or anything at all?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The seminal PH of the male partner does not cause bloating or any other symptoms in the females. The symptoms may be due to gastritis and she can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
