I have a feeling of squeezing in the heart region and gives me shortness of breath and makes me feel tired I am an 18 year old female, over the years i always have a heart pain that soon after disappears after a couple of seconds but this one is long term for like hours. Whenever i move a lot it hurts more, recently i had to walk upstairs in my house and that made it hurt terribly.I began having this feeling last night after just laying down. Do i have heart failure or soon to have a heart attack and what can i do for my arteries?
Hi welcome to HCM, Your symptoms are suggestive of congestive cardiac failure secondary to Anemia. So get investigations like complete blood picture,ECG,2 D ECHO,chest x ray, serum electrolytes of your heart to confirm the diagnosis.Drugs like Diuretics, ionotropic agents will be helpful.iron supplementation is necessary.Eat diet rich in iron like dates, jaggery, green leafy vegetables.Exercises and breathing exercise may provide some relief in your case. Also take hot fluids and fruits.Bed elevation may be useful.Consult with your cardiologist for evaluation and for treatment options. Thannkyou
