Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

There are so many types of diabetes like
1. Type 1
2. Type 2
3. Type 3

Diabetes associated with other specific types.

But the main thing is there are two more types of diabetes called MODY also called maturity onset diabetes in the young and LADA.

These type of patients will respond to oral drugs at initial stages. Then there will be progressive decline in the beta cell function causing dependency in insulin .

So they present as type 1 diabetes in later stages from type 2 diabetes from earlier stages.

Thanks
