What Are The Differences Between External And Internal Hemorrhoids?

Hi! I'm a 26 y/o female, 5'4 1/2", 62kgs. My ob-gyne just prescribed me with FAKTU suppository for my complaints with hemorroids. This is my 2nd time around to experience hemorroids, and my 1st prescription was Hemoproct. I just wanted to know, what's the difference between the two prescriptions? And also, what are the basic signs of external and internal hemorroids? Coz as i viewed with my case, something is protruding, it's like grape-like, but my sister viewed it as bean shaped. I have irritations about it, sensing that "it's there", and also some pain PS 4/10. And i'm also wondering how i got it. My bowel is actually soft, i don't have problems with defecating, i exercise regularly, and as far as i remember, i don't eat that much spicy food anymore. There isn't any bleeding with my stool.

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* Difference between external and internal hemorrhoid

- External seems to be outside the anal opening always which may be
even sentinel tag which many times are asymptomatic .
Usually painless , no bleeding , routinely does not need intervention

- Internal hemorrhoid symptoms depend on the stage :
1st stage - usually asymptomatic , occasional accidental clinical
finding , does not protrude outside .
2nd stage - Protrudes in form of pink flesh or mass outside , goes
inside
- Bleeding with constipation or hard stools .
- Sometimes painful , sometimes pain less
3rd stage - Prolapsed outside from inside and not going inside .
- More painful , even difficulty in sitting as well .
- Immediate surgery is mandatory .

* In your case , cause seems to be mucosal congestion from soft
stool with less fiber content .

Hope this will help to clear your doubt .
Wishing you fine recovery .

Regards .
