What Are The Chances Of Recurrence Of Typhoid?
Hi Doctor. In the first week of MAY 2012 i was having Typhoid and i had treatment for 10 days. Then next 10 days i was feeling well and good. But last two days I am having fever and cold an also having heavy body pain. Is this again a Typhoid symptoms?

Hello Get in Widal test for confirmation of typhoid . Serology test is also an accurate test for typhoid.
Usually morning rise of temperature , mild chills , low grade fever , mild headache and heaviness in the head are characteristic feature of typhoid fever.
Recurrence is only possible ,if not treated properly or if infection recurs as causative bacteria are salmonella typhi ( 4 strain).
As you mentioned that there is fever with cold so this may be due to typhoid or due to virus or bacterial infection.
Consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is important.
