What Are The Chances Of Recovery From Paralyse After Stroke?

hi! my father had brain stroke in 2011 and got paralysed from his left side of the body (hand and leg). He was recovering but felldown during his physiotherapy session n so now the recovery is very slow. What are the chances of his recovery. He is in his late 50s.

Many factors determine the recovery from Stroke .

1. Extent of damage to brain at the time of Stroke .

2. Whether the stroke was due to bleed or blockage .

3. Whether the Stroke was treated with Anti-platelet medications or any thrombolysis was done .

4 . How aggressively Physiotherapy was given ? ( How frequently by the therapist and by family members )

5. If diabetic how well his sugars are controlled ?
