What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy While On Birth Control Pills?

hi my girlfriend is taking a lose-dose birth control, and she is worried about possibly being pregnant. she weighs a little under 115 pounds. She just ended her activity pills. She is showing little signs of maybe getting it, but she is worried. Is there a possibility?

I understand your concern.
Low-dose birth control pills are equally effective against protecting against pregnancy, provided it is taken timely and regularly. Its effectiveness is taught to be nearly 100%.
If she is showing signs of pregnancy, the following tests can be done to confirm the same.
1. Urine pregnancy test (UPT)
2. Blood for beta-HCG.
You can wait for few more days to get the above tests done, in case she misses her periods this time. In case she gets her periods in time, then it says that she is protected by birth control pills and she can continue with the same, as long it is desired so.
