What are the chances of pregnancy, if there is no fetal heart beat at 9 weeks?
Hi Dr, according to my last cycle which was 25-05-2013,I am 9 weeks pregnant.. but my scans showed no heart beat yet only sac and baby echoes. My HCG last week was 0000 and today after 7 days only 0000... Is there any chance to continue this preganacy or not really confused?

Hi. It is really sad to know this. But this seems to be a missed abortion as there is no cardiac activity. HCG levels are not same for everybody, but at 9 weeks it is around25,700 and its doubling time is 48 hrs. In your case it remains same even after 7 days. So, I am afraid that all is not well. You may repeat a scan for confirmation and second opinion. Thanks and god bless.
