What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Despite Being On Birth Control Pills?

hi my friend just started birth control for college late august, she s on the pills that you chew and have your period for 4 days. she had sex and didn t use a condom and let him do his business inside of her, could she likely be pregnant? i thought the pill wasn t in full effectiveness until after being on it for 3 months?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Birth control pills when taken regularly at the same time of the day daily, then it is effective after 7 days of its starting ( provided it was started on the first day of the menstrual period).
I would suggest her to wait for the period, if delayed then do get a urine pregnancy test done to confirm the diagnosis.
