What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Bases On Sperm Analysis Report?

my husband had a sperm analysis done and he has 84% severely anamorphic, 8% slightly, 4% defective, 3% immature, and only 1% normal. He did have good volume, ph, viscosity, progression, and total but was low on motitlity. What does this mean for our changes of getting pregnant?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your husband's semen analysis report suggests decreased sperm motility with excess abnormal forms.

He should do exercise and take nutritious food.
L-Carnitine and Acetyl-L-Carnintine are two amino acids that improve sperm count.vitamin A and C and zinc also improves sperm count.
He should avoid alcohol and cigarettes if he take these things.
He should avoid tight underpants.

If motility and excess abnormal forms persist then assisted fertilization techniques lie IUI, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) etc should be tried.
IVF is the last option.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.

Take Care
