What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Ipills?

Hi yesterday me and my boyfriend had in protected sex. We though a lil but of semen got in me so we got a contraceptive pill at least 20 minutes after. Later that night around 9 I took my birth control. It was my
Green pill also. I'm suppose to get my period in a few days. Can I be pregnant? Will I still get my period on time?

I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.

To be pregnant, 2 criteria should be fulfilled:
1. Fusion of sperm with ovum to form a fertilized ovum.
2. Implantation of the fertilized ovum in the Uterus.
As you took contraceptive, there are less chances of pregnancy.
There is no need to worry, you can wait till you get your periods.
If they are delayed, a Pregnancy test can be done to confirm it.
In case of pregnancy, it will give a positive result within one week.
I will suggest you to avoid unprotected intercourse if you do not want pregnancy.
In case of overdue of your cycle, go for pregnancy test and consult with your Gynaecologist.
