22nd feb i was having period after that i had sex on 24th feb and taken unwanted 72 pill i had partial bleeding for about 3 days and now 22nd march was my period date but still it has not come.is their any chances of pregnancy ? in between on 18th march i have done pregnancy test it was negative....pls reply me is their any chances of pregnancy
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Taking I pill within 24 hours has the contraceptive efficacy of about 95-98% , which means that chances of pregnancy are quite low. I pill also has a side effect of delaying the next expected periods by2-3 weeks. I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done and if negative, then do wait for2 weeks more. If you don't get your periods in that time, then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated( including hormonal profile) and get treated accordingly.
