What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Missing Birth Control Pill?

hi, I am on my third week of pills in my birth control pack (first day of fourth week inactive pills) I forgot to take my last active pill last night, and had unprotected sex today. am I likely to get pregnant? when is too soon to take a pregnancy test? will I still get my period if I am pregnant this cycle (in the next 3 days)?

I understand your concern.
Your chance of getting pregnant is very small. Ideally, you should take the last active pill as soon as you remember it before starting the active pill.
Also, you should use another form of contraception like condom till you get periods and resume with the next pack.
You can check with pregnancy test if you don't get period within a week.
You will not get periods if you are pregnant in this cycle but the chances of that to happen are very rare.
