Hello sir and welcome.

Bed rest does not signify the result or status of pregnancy. It depends on the status of the pregnancy and what condition she has been diagnosed with.

Depending on her hormone levels, diagnosis and so on. So the mainstay of treatment is not bedrest, although it contributes by avoiding conplications. Please discuss things in detail with her doctor as I do not know the diagnosis and her status to provide you with details of her treatment. You could write back to me with those details and I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.
