OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Dextrocardia and hypoplastic left heart syndrome are not recurrent conditions in subsequent pregnancies if they are not associated with any genetic syndrome or chromosomal anomalies.
If there was anychromosomal anomaly in that fetus, then the chromosomal analysis of this fetus should be done by amniocentesis at 15-16 weeks of pregnancy. If any genetic syndrome was present in the previous pregnancy, then the associated anomalies should be looked for in the detailed anomaly ultrasound at 18-20 weeks of pregnancy.
Moreover, I would suggest you to consult a fetal medicine specialist so that a detailed ultrasound can be done at 22-24 weeks of pregnancy to look for the fetal heart anomalies.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
