What Are The Chances Of Fertility After An Endometriosis Diagnosis?

I m 21 and have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis but I am awaiting the keyhole surgery to find out what stage and what my fertility is like. Even more recently I have discovered I am 8 weeks pregnant. I m in a long term stable relationship and our living situation is suitable to have a child but the timing is completely off for us. We don t whether we can afford to take the risk of a termination if I am unlikely to have children in the future. What are my chances of being fertile for years to come with an endometriosis diagnosis?

Hi, I think the Fertility depends on stage of your endometriosis. It is a serious problem if it is a higher stage. So, it can lead to problems in conceiving as it impairs ovarian function, decreases quality of eggs and disturbs tuboovarian axis. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
