Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have four follicles as on day 14 as follows:- Left Ovary - F1 - 10 x 9 mm and F2 - 9 x 8 mm Right Ovary - F1 - 9 x 8 mm and F2 - 8 x 8 mm Endometrium is 8.9 mm Are there chances of conceiving in this cycle? Which day is the ovulation likely to happen in your opinion? Hystero, Lapro, HSG everything is normal.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. From the follicular study report, it is evident that left ovary has a dominant follicle measuring 10 X 9 mm. That follicle will normally grow to 18-24 mm, before it ruptures. It is difficult to predict when exactly the ovulation would happen, but it might happen in any of the next 3 to 5 days. Kindly get a follicular follow-up scan done to know when it could happen. If the other parameters are normal and your partner's semen analysis is proper, there is more chances for you to conceive if you time it rightly. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
