Hello,
Without protection, the chances of conception are very high as she was ovulating when the incident occurred. Yet, as she has taken the emergency contraception within the stipulated time, she is amply protected. You may expect some amount of withdrawal bleeding a few days after consumption of the pill; also, there may be a delay in the onset of the next normal period by a week or two as the pill creates hormonal imbalance. If she does not see her next period even after ten days after she is due, further help is needed. Hope this helps.
