What Are The Causes & Remedy For Clogged Vein In Upper Lip?

Hello I am 35 year old female. I have had what looks like a clogged vein on the inside of my upper lip for many years. It formed a purple bump on my lip years ago and over the last 6 years or so a new bump has formed beside it. What is it and could I have them removed?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The purple bump could be because of the arterovenous malformation or a fibrosed mucocele or a traumatic fibroma.
Consult a oral physician and get it ruled out.
If it is a fibroma or mucocele, then you can get it removed surgically.
If it is arterovenous malformation or hemangioma, then you can consult plastic surgeon and get it treated with sclerosing agents and if needed, by surgery.
If the lesion is big then you have to get a MRI done.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
