What Are The Causes Of Vertigo?

One day I was just standing normally doin nothing when I suddenly began to feel lightheaded, nauseas, hot and my vision began to get darker. I then sat down for 5 minutes with my head on the table and felt better. This has happend in a couple occsions what is wrong with me.

Hello....i understand your concern.
What you experienced in all probability was a vaso vagal attack. It can be brought on by prolonged periods of standing which causes pooling of blood in the lower limbs and subsequent symptom of dizziness and black outs.
Are you on blood pressure lowering medication?
If the symptoms are not too frequent i wpuld not particularly worry.
However, it is still advisable that you consult your doctor and get your blood pressure checked along with a baseline ekg.
