What Are The Causes Of Abnormal EKG?

After a very successful and routine lap/chol, I had a blip in my ekg and everyone seemed to jump to action. I was pretty much pain free, drinking gingerale and feeling great in post op and unaware of this problem. never had a abnormal ekg before. saw my doc two days later for exam and another ekg.......no problems....however, I am worried, how should I follow up now?

Welcome to Health Care Magic. Thank you for posting your question.
I can understand your concern.

Do not panic. It might have been a post-operative complication for a moment.

Since your EKG is at present normal, do not worry.

Get your blood pressure checked regularly.

If you have any problems like chest pain or breathlessness or palpitations visit the ER and get an EKG done.

Write back to us.
Have a nice day.
Regards.
